Google Apps Learning Center is a great resource and its tagline, “Only have a few minutes? Start using Google Apps in 7 easy steps!” is accurate, though the site goes as deep as most users will need. The site provides a variety of resources, guiding the user through signing in, sending emails, scheduling events, storing and sharing files, collaborating, making video calls, and “powering up your Apps”. Particularly relevant as we move from Microsoft Office to Google Apps for Education as the district’s supported office suite is section 4, which provides information related to uploading files. At the end of the section, there is a link to another Learning Center resource which focuses on the differences between using a c: drive or network drive and using Google Drive.
