Caine’s Arcade originated in California by a boy named Caine, who spent time in his father’s auto parts store over the summer.  He grew bored and started designing fully functional arcade style games using recyclable materials found around the shop.  Mr. LaMorte and his inspired students hold an annual Caine’s Arcade event, where many the 21st century skills as proposed by the strategic coherence plan are exercised (Critical thinking, perseverance, collaboration/communication, adaptability and civic responsibility). These games integrate many core subject and skills into one.  For example, creativity, imagination, engineering, science, math, etc.
