Project Lead The Way and the Technology Department Collaborate on a Special Project

Brewster High School teacher, Rebecca Greenfeld and Chris Whalen from the Technology Department recently collaborated on a special project for Ms. Greenfeld’s ninth grade Project Lead The Way class.

The purpose of the project was to show the students how to reverse engineer a Chromebook device.  Using some older out-of-service Acer Chromebooks, Chris spent the class moving from table to table showing the students how to dismantle them.  He then pointed out the internal parts and explained what each one was and how it worked, and he answered any questions the students had about the devices.  The class was very excited to learn about the internal workings of the Chromebooks and enjoyed this hands-on experience.
