STUDENT CHROMEBOOK DISTRIBUTION THIS MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY
Great news….students in grades 9-11 will be receiving their Chromebooks in the ILC during their study halls or free periods on the following days: Monday, February 27 and Tuesday, February 28, periods 1-9 and Wednesday, March 1, periods 1-9 and after school.
Grade 12 will be assigned devices that are currently deployed to the BHS carts. Those devices will need to be decommissioned and power washed which will take a few days. Teachers of grade 12 students are encouraged to utilize the current system to access devices as long as they are available during this transition.
Study Hall teachers – please take attendance and release your students to the ILC (no passes necessary). Students will likely be returning by the end of the period.
Students must have the agreement form signed for the student to be eligible to receive a Chromebook. Insurance for the device is available for $22 each year. Details of the coverage and the procedure for purchasing the insurance can be found on our website.
DUTCHESS COMMUNITY COLLEGE WORKSHOP
If you are a junior or senior students with an IEP or a 504 plan and are interested in attending a college preparation workshop at Dutchess Community College, please see your guidance counselor to sign up. This workshop will be held at Dutchess Community College on March 14th. Transportation will be provided. See your counselor today, if you are interested.

SALTY HANDS AND MR. BREWSTER PAGEANT
Our annual Mr. Brewster pageant is TOMORROW at 7:00 in the PAC. Come see our boys compete for the crown as they sing, dance and impress the crowd, to earn the title of this years’ Mr. Brewster. Tickets are $7 at the door.
SALTY HANDS will meet today after school in room 110. All members should attend.
VARSITY GOLF INTEREST MEETING
There will be a varsity golf interest meeting today at 2:30 in room 106.
IRON GIRAFFE CHALLENGE BAKE SALE TODAY
Students participating the Water for South Sudan’s Iron Giraffe Challenge are hosting a bake sale during all lunch periods today. Please stop by their table for a tasty treat and support this great cause. Together we WILL make a difference!
Pick up your Prideworks permission slips from Mrs. Archer in room 106 this week. Permission slips and money must be returned by Monday, February 27.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
There will be a Habitat for Humanity meeting today in room 205.
Candy money is due back to Mrs. Thut by Friday, 2/24
Safe School Ambassadors will meet on Monday afterschool in room 210.
BOYS LACROSSE INTEREST MEETING
There will be a boys lacrosse interest meeting on Wednesday, March 1 after school in room 165. Open to anyone in grades 9-12.
