Juniors will have the opportunity to speak with a representative from SUNY Oneonta on March 23, 2017@ 9:15 a.m. The representative will go over all that their school has to offer, as well as the application process and application timeline.
The deadline for athletic option has been extended until today. Please turn in all forms to the athletic office.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW AVAILABLE.
The Senior Awards Ceremony scholarship applications are now available in Guidance. All completed applications must be submitted by April 19th. Stop by the Guidance Office to pick up your applications today.
GROUP GUIDANCE COURSE SELECTION
There will be a counselor available in the college career room periods 3,5, 6 and 7, today through Thursday of this week, to help with course selection. Please take advantage of this added opportunity to make the best choices for next year. Student portal will close tomorrow @ 3pm.
NHS TUTORS AVAILABLE
Attention all students, there will be NHS tutors available periods 1-9 everyday in the iLC. A pass is required from one of your academic teachers. This afternoon there will be also be an opportunity to meet with an NHS tutor. Please take advantage of this great resource. No pass needed for today after school.
CHROMEBOOK FINAL DISTRIBUTION
This is the last week for students to pick up Chromebooks in the iLC. If you did not get a Chromebook and wish to receive one, please go to the iLC with your signed permission slip by Friday. All students are now required to have a device with them at all times during the school day. For those students who chose not to take a district device, please be aware that your are choosing to bring in your own device to school everyday. There will be no more devices available for those students who opt out of the 1:1 program after Friday. Any questions, please see Mr. Breen.

MARY POPPINS OPENS THIS WEEK!
Tickets are on sale for Brewster High School’s spring musical Mary Poppins which opens tomorrow! Performances are on Thursday and Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2:00pm and 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. Visit the school website to buy your tickets online
PROM PROJECT MEETINGS:
Brewster High School in conjunction with the Communities that Care Coalition will be hosting a mandatory Prom Project meeting this evening at 6:30 in the HH Well auditorium for parents, and students who are planning to attend the Junior or Senior prom. In order for students to be eligible to purchase prom tickets, a parent or guardian and the student must attend one of the brief scheduled presentations.
The Challengers will meet today to plan the end of the year.
GLOBAL COMMUNITY CLUB
GLOBAL COMMUNITY CLUB will meet today in room 203 at 2:30. Everyone is welcome.
There will be a chapter meeting of the National Art Honor Society this Friday in room 118. Please remember your artwork for the induction ceremony is due! We will also be selecting our Memory Project photos on that day. Also a reminder that on Thursday all National Art Honor Society all volunteers who are decorating the PAC lobby should report to 118 immediately after school.
MARCH MUSIC MADNESS RAFFLE TICKETS
March Music Madness Raffle tickets are available until March 26, Drawing will be held on March 29. There are 7 prize packages! Raffles are $1 each.
CLASS OF 2017 TIME CAPSULE
Gesselle Jarrin, Brianna Arellano and Haylie Keuroghlian are planning on making a video time capsule for the class of 2017. Filming will start today, during free periods and after school. If you haven’t already, please see them to make an appointment. All seniors should check their student email which contains information regarding the time capsule.
SCIENCE HONOR SOCIETY
The Science Honor Society will meet this Friday after school in room 276.
JUNIOR PROM TICKET SALES
Junior Prom tickets will be on sale from March 27th through March 30th. Tickets will be sold from 2:20-3:00 afterschool in room 154 and during periods 2, 4, 8 & 9 from Mrs. Thus in the Math Office. Tickets are $80 per person, cash or check. Checks must be made payable to BREWSTER HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITY FUND. You will also be picking a table to sit at when you buy your ticket; 8 people to a table.
A reminder to students that final payments for Cornell University are due no later than March 31st.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Habitat for Humanity is hosting a BHS lip sync battle on March 31st at 7pm in the PAC. Come see teachers and students battle it out! If you are interested in performing pick up a form in the Main office or Room 205. Prizes will be awarded to the top acts of the night!
FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS
The Nurse’s office is offering free sports physicals with the school doctor after school on April 26th and 27th. Please stop by the Nurse’s office to sign up.
