Fingerprinting Procedures

All employees hired after 2001 who work in the Brewster Central School District must be fingerprinted. New York State Education Department created the Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability (OSPRA) to implement the fingerprinting process. This includes conducting criminal background checks for all school personnel.

Transportation procedures

Criminal background check processed through the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department. Specific procedures for drivers are outlined in the application packet available in the transportation office.
