Character Virtue
The purpose of the Character Education Program at Garden Street School is to develop in students a core of good character traits that will help them all their lives to be responsible and respectful citizens. One component of our program is identifying students who perform "Acts of Kindness" which fall under the character virtues of caring, respect and responsibility. The students that have preformed such an act will be recognized as recipients of an "Act of Kindness", by a staff member or fellow student and have their names displayed on the bulletin board located in front of the main office for all to see as well as receive an Act of Kindness Certificate, which is presented during our morning gathering every Friday.
