- The garden project was made possible through a generous grant by the
Brewster Education Foundation and a community grant from McDonald's and
the George Candreva Environmental Center Foundation and the donations of
bulbs and plants from Home Depot and our parents.
- Many
of you may be aware that our school is unique in that we have our very own
live garden, located in the court yard. Periodically you will see
our students diligently working outside on the garden planting, watering
and weeding it so as to prepare it for each of the four seasons.
Below is a picture of how our garden looks during the summer months.
It is certainly a wonderful addition to our school, and our students, staff
and outside community members take great pride in keeping our garden
beautiful all year long. So please take the time when you visit us to stroll
by the court yard to see how our garden changes, evolves and
grows, just like our students, through out the school year.
