Dear Garden Street Students and Families,

I can’t believe how quickly the summer has flown by!  It seems like the last day of school was just a week ago!  We hope you and your families have enjoyed a restful summer.  We are excited to have our students back to Garden Street on September 8^th!

Kindergarten students will have their screening on September 8th, 9th, or 10th, according to the appointment that was previously set up.  The first day of school for all Kindergarten students will be on Friday, September 11, 2009.

There has been lots of construction and electrical work at Garden Street throughout the summer.  Our beautiful new red doors look fantastic!

Mr. Conroy and I are very excited to welcome back our families and students to Garden Street.  We are looking forward to a great 2009-2010 school year.

We hope that you all have a safe, healthy, and relaxing remainder of the summer.

Estimados Estudiantes y Familias de Garden Street,

¡Es increíble como pasa el tiempo!  ¡Tal parece que el último día de clases fue hace una semana!  Esperamos que ustedes y sus familias han disfrutado de un verano tranquilo.  Estamos ansiosos por ver a nuestros estudiantes aquí en Garden Street el 8 de septiembre.

Los estudiantes de Kindergarten tendrán sus examinaciones el día 8, 9, o 10 de septiembre, de acuerdo a la cita fijada anteriormente.  El primer día de clases para todos los estudiantes de Kindergarten será el viernes, 11 de septiembre, 2009.

Ha ocurrido mucha construcción y trabajo eléctrico en nuestra escuela durante el verano.  ¡Nuestras nuevas puertas rojas se ven fantásticas! 

El Sr. Conroy y yo estamos muy contentos de recibir de nuevo a nuestros estudiantes y familias de Garden Street.  Esperamos tener un gran año escolar 2009-10.
