As the weather begins to warm, so does our spring sport season. With lacrosse, baseball, track, softball, tennis and golf in full swing please come out and enjoy the spring season at Brewster High School and catch some of the action This season should prove to be very exciting as many of our senior students begin to settle on their plans for next year, some deciding to continue their careers on the next level. Juniors, it is around the time to begin to consider your options for your post-high school years. If you wish to play after high school, this would be a great point to have a conversation with your coach, your family and our athletic department to make sure you are on the right track for NCAA clearance. Another piece of good news includes a solution to our modified football dilemma. Some dilemma… too many kids want to play! This season the town program (with thanks to Mike DiCanio and the Bruins program and MaryAnne Gallipani and South-East Recreation) has created a seventh grade team. Our Modified program will house all the eighth graders. This means we now have a plan in place for football players from elementary grades on through their high school years. Lastly, we are always looking to improve. If you have a suggestion for something we should try or a resource we could access please share.
