Minutes


A special meeting of the Board of Education was held Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in the Board Room of the Brewster Central School District Office, 30 Farm to Market Road, Brewster, New York. The meeting began at 7:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Dr. Stephen Jambor, President.

Ms. Alberta Kozma, Trustee
Mr. Sean Mitts, Trustee (arrived @ 7:12 pm)
Dr. Bruce Shaffer, Trustee

MEMBERS ABSENT
Mr. Roger Gross, Trustee
Mr. Joseph Charbonneau, Trustee

Also present were, Dr. Jane Sandbank, Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Deborah Gregory, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Mr. Timothy Conway, Assistant Superintendent for Administration and Business, Mr. Steven Moskowitz, Director of Information Systems and Instructional Technology.

Motioned by Mr. Schramek, seconded by Dr. Shaffer, to enter into executive session at 7:00pm to discuss the medical, financial, credit or employment history of a particular person or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person or corporation
Vote: 4 - yes, 0 - no. Motion carried.

Motioned by Ms. Kozma, seconded by Dr. Shaffer, to adjourn executive session and return to special meeting at 7:47pm.

Vote: 5 - yes, 0 - no. Motion carried.

Motioned by Mr. Schramek, seconded by Mr. Mitts, to close the special meeting at 7:47pm.

Vote: 5 - yes, 0 - no. Motion carried.
