Robin Young came to the John F. Kennedy Elementary School in 1999. Prior to coming to Brewster, she was Assistant Principal for five years of New Fairfield Connecticut's Meeting House Hill Intermediate School. She also served as Interim Principal of New Fairfield's K-2 Consolidated School. Dr. Young's 16 year teaching background includes Pre-Kindergarten through sixth grade. To enhance her understanding and teaching of writing across the curriculum, she became a fellow of the Connecticut Writing Project. She has received degrees from Brooklyn College, Western Connecticut and Southern Connecticut State Universities recently completed her doctorate from Seton Hall University.
