Application Procedure

If you are interested in employment with the Brewster Central School District, please check our employment section often. Vacancies are updated weekly. Please note the procedures for the various positions below.

Certified Teaching Positions

Brewster is a participating district in the Lower Hudson Valley On-line Application System (www.olasjobs.org) for educators. This is a free service to teacher candidates seeking employment in the region. Interested candidates should register online, and submit an application for a specific position. The district will then contact you.

Non-Instructional Positions

If you are interested in one of our non-certified positions, you must complete an application and return it to the Human Resources Office. You may pick up an application at the District Office located at 30 Farm to Market Rd., Brewster, NY, 10509, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily or download one.

Substitute Teachers, support Staff and CLEAners

If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher, or substituting in one of our non-certified positions, you must complete an substitute application and return it to the Human Resources Office. You may pick up an application at the District Office located at 30 Farm to Market Rd., Brewster, NY, 10509, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily or download one.

Bus Drivers

Applications for bus drivers and substitute bus drivers are accepted throughout the year, including the summer. If you are interested in becoming a bus driver, or a substitute bus driver, you must pick up an application packet from the Transportation Office located next to the District Office on Farm to Market Road. You may also contact the transportation office at 279-4700 if you have specific questions regarding the requirements for these positions.
