Carnival for a Cause Preparations in Full Swing

The Democratic Congress has begun planning and publicizing Carnival for a Cause scheduled for Sunday, June 1, 2008. This year's theme is "BHS Gives Back." Proceeds from the carnival will be donated to local charities. Kay O'Rourke and Nick Durante will spearhead the efforts, but there are many other students coordinating specific activities. This will be a community celebration which will include a district-wide art exhibit, an educational presentation on Darfur, performances and demonstrations, as well as a flea market, the Meadow Muffin Mania and the dedication of the Chris Caiazzo Memorial Garden.
