BHS Senior Alex Ruyak competes at INTEL Science Fair

Brewster High School senior, Alex Ruyak, recently traveled to Reno, Nevada to compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (Intel ISEF). The Intel ISEF is the world's largest pre-college science fair competition. To judge the projects, more than 1,000 science, engineering, and industry professionals volunteer at the Fair.
Alex earned his place at the competition by previously winning the Science Horizons Fair in Connecticut. His project was titled, "Macro-scale Synthesis of Vertically Aligned Carbon Nanotubes via Reduced Metal Catalysis."
