The Brewster Central School District has a dynamic and challenging curriculum that focuses on our mission, 'Every Student a Success'. Over the past three years, the curriculum has changed dramatically. Everyday Math has been introduced to our primary level students. Science programs offer students experiences that are interesting and exciting. Our balanced literacy program in our elementary schools is designed to promote reading, writing and listening skills. The Henry H. Wells Middle School stresses academics, while allowing students the opportunity to try many new and wonderful activities. At Brewster High School, the challenge is to prepare our students for the rigors and demands of college academia. Our high school offers a plethora of college level courses, including Advanced Placement and Syracuse University courses, along with classes and potential credits linked to the State University of New York through our affiliation with Westchester Community College. Art, drama and music await students in all our buildings for those who enjoy a creative flair. The co-curricular program is constantly expanding to provide opportunities for all students to participate in an activity that they enjoy. All in all, we feel confident that the Brewster Schools offer something for everyone.
