As part of a state grant, Channel Thirteen (PBS) has teamed up with Unitedstreaming to offer schools streaming video on demand over the Internet. This web site allows you to access and view 1,400 digital videos and over 15,000 digital video clips online with sound. The site allows searches for resources by subject, grade, and/or NYS learning standard. There are topics for everyone – from science to math, health to history.
To access the site, follow these instructions:
1. Go to http://www.unitedstreaming.com/
2. Enter the username
3. Enter the password
4. Search by Key Word, Subject and Grade, or State Standard
5. To preview a video, click the “stream” button.
6. To download a video, click the "download" button. |
