Dr. Januzzi has worked in the field of education for twenty-five years. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at Hofstra University in Psychology and Special Education, respectively.  She obtained her Professional Diploma degree in Educational Administration and Supervision and recently earned her Doctorate degree in Education at Fordham University.  She began her career as a special education teacher in the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District.  She served as Assistant Principal at Westlake Middle School in Thornwood, and the principal of Tuckahoe High School.
