- Students are reminded that they are not allowed to wear hats / berets while in school, except at recess. (Dr. Januzzi)
- If you plan to stay after school, you must be supervised by an adult. Students are not allowed to stay to clean out lockers, to watch music/show rehearsals, or to watch sports practices or games UNLESS they have a PARENT with them. Activity bus passes will not be given out by the Main Office.
- All students need to remember to get a pass from their scheduled teacher BEFORE going to the Main Office, Nurse, Guidance, or anywhere other than their scheduled classrooms. If they don't, they can be and often are marked absent or tardy from their scheduled classes. Thank you.
- STUDENT A.M. DROP-OFF PROCEDURES: If you are dropped off between 7:15am and 7:40am, ALL students must do so at the side entrance of the building on FARM TO MARKET ROAD, and report directly to the cafeteria. If you are late to school for ANY reason, you must check-in with the Front Desk and get a pass before proceeding to your locker or to class..
- STUDENT PICK-UP PROCEDURES: At regular dismissal (2:41pm), ALL students must be picked up by the side entrance on FARM TO MARKET ROAD. At the late dismissal (3:30pm), ALL students must be picked up at the MAIN ENTRANCE on RT. 312.
- Bus passes will be issued BEFORE and DURING FIRST PERIOD ONLY, with written parental permission. You will not be allowed to use the phone in the Main Office or elsewhere to make last minute requests for bus passes.
- All students who go to the high school after school to participate in athletic activities will first need to report to the Wells Auditorium at the end of the school day. You will then board a bus that will take you to the high school. If you plan to go to the weight room at the high school, you will need a pass to get onto the bus. You will no longer be allowed to walk over to the high school at dismissal.
Before 11:15am, the doors by room 36 will be LOCKED during the day for security reasons. After that time, students will be able to enter and exit from that door.
ACTIVITY BUS
Activity bus rosters will be posted in the cafeteria. Students, please make sure to know your activity bus number before you stay after school.

And, once your child returns to school, please send him or her in with a note explaining the absence. Your cooperation is GREATLY appreciated!
If you have changes to your home, cell, work, and/or emergency contact phone number(s), please submit your changes to the Guidance Department IN WRITING as soon as possible. Please indictate the "type" of phone number it is (home, cell, or work) and/or the emergency contact's name(s) and the "type" of phone number(s) you submit.. The more up-to-date our records at Wells are, the better and quicker our communications with you will be in the event of a student and/or school-related emergency.
When a student receives a lunch detention from Ms. Ferrarone or Mr. Cameron and is assigned to Room 116, the student MUST report DIRECTLY to Room 116. DO NOT GO TO THE CAFETERIA.
All lunch money checks should be given to the cafeteria staff, not the Main Office. (Food Services)
Under no circumstances are students allowed to leave the school property to go to the deli during or after school. It is dangerous AND it is against school rules. Students found crossing the street will be given detention and your parents will be called to pick you up.
All instrumental lesson students need to check the band bulletin board for their lesson times. These lesson schedules are also available online via your music teacher's website and also under "Student Resources" on the Wells webpage. If there is a schedule conflict with your assigned lesson time, please notify the instrumental music teacher as soon as possible. Thank you!
We are asking for your help and cooperation in a very important effort. 60% of all electricity we use is from burning coal. Doing this has drastic results, such as mercury in the fish we eat, acid rain, and possible global climate change. Reducing electricity usage will help solve these problems. Please help us in our pursuit of bettering our society and creating a better future. Make every effort to turn off lights and computers when not being used. Also take notice of our signs near the light switches in the classrooms. Thank you. DoRight (TM) Enterprises - Wells Enrichment
