SCP Talks Starting December 4, 2018

November 29, 2018

Dear Brewster Community,

As you know, we are in the throes of implementing our Strategic Coherence Plan (SCP), our blueprint for 21st century teaching and learning. One of our goals for this year is to continue to integrate, more deeply, the academic and social emotional skills outlined in our plan, which include critical thinking, collaboration/communication, perseverance, adaptability, and civic responsibility. These skills are present across each school in curriculum, instruction, assessment, the learning environment and professional learning. Ms. Michelle Gosh, the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, and I would like to share some of the examples of the integration of these skills across the District. Additionally, we would like to give you an opportunity to ask questions about how the curriculum resources we have adopted reflect these skills. The times and locations of these SCP Talks are below.
