Medication Administration in School

In order to administer any medication (prescription or over-the counter) to your student, we must have a written order from a licensed prescriber along with written parental permission. All medications must adhere to these guidelines. Medications must be brought in by a parent/guardian in the original container and given to us to keep in a locked cabinet in our nurse's office. Medications CAN NOT be brought to school by a student via the bus as it is against NYS laws.
