In accordance with the provision of the 40 CFR 76.93 (E) of the Federal AHERA Law, notice is hereby given of the ability of the Management Plan and subsequent inclusions. The semi-annual surveillance has been performed as per the Management Plan and the results of the surveillance are included in the Management Plan. Any response to action(s) taken in the past year are also part of this document. The document is available for inspection in the Operations and Maintenance office and the main offices of the school buildings.

Integrated Pest Management

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common sense practices. IPM uses information on the life cycles of pests in combination with available pest control methods to manage pest damage by the most economical and environmentall responsible means.

Lead Testing Results

In accordance with New York State Department of Health's Subpart 67-4 of Title 10 of the Codes, Rules and Regulations of New York State, all school districts are required to complete lead testing of all water outlets used for drinking and cooking.

Stormwater Management Program

This Storm Water Management Program is intended to be a guide to aid the Brewster Central School District in complying with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Phase II Stormwater Regulations.

“In conformance with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System General Permit for Stormwater Discharges from Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) General Permit GP-0-24-001, the MS4 Annual Report is available for public review and comment by clicking the link provided.
