Safety & Emergency Planning

Your child’s safety is our number one priority.

Pending Board of Education approval.

Pursuant to Education Law §§ 807 and 2801-a, and Commissioner’s Regulation 155.17, the Board of Education hereby requests public comments for the next thirty (30) days with respect to the proposed District-wide School Safety Plan. Such public comment period will extend through July 31, 2025, and such comments can be submitted through the survey link located below.

Note: the Board of Education must adopt the District-wide School Safety Plan & Building-level Emergency Response Plans prior to September 1st of each school year, following the 30-day public comment period.  It is anticipated that the final plans will be approved at the August 12, 2025 Board of Education meeting.
