Performing Arts Boosters

Ensembles

Here at Brewster Central School District, we take great pride in our vibrant performing arts program. Each week, approximately 2,900 students in grades K–9 receive classroom music instruction during the school day. Their education encompasses a wide range of musical concepts, including notation, pitch, rhythm, instrument recognition, the historical and cultural influences on music, and the evaluation of diverse musical styles throughout history.

Beyond the classroom, more than 1,000 students experience the joy of making music through participation in one or more of our many performing ensembles. These opportunities include choir beginning in grade 3, string and band instruction starting in grade 4, and exceptional theater productions at both the middle school and high school levels.
