Visual Arts K–12
Make Art Loud
We don’t teach projects. We teach artists. At Brewster, we believe every student is an artist, and every student deserves meaningful opportunities to create, explore, and find their own artistic voice. Our K–12 Visual Arts program is designed as a connected journey that builds artistic skills, creative thinking, confidence, and independence from one grade level to the next. Through drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, design, photography, mixed media, and other creative experiences, students learn to experiment, solve problems, collaborate, take creative risks, and communicate their ideas through art.
Our goal goes beyond creating finished projects. We strive to develop curious, confident, thoughtful, and creative thinkers who understand that their ideas have value and that creativity is something they can continue to develop throughout their lives. From foundational experiences to advanced and capstone opportunities, students are encouraged to think boldly, create fearlessly, collaborate generously, and Make Art Loud.
