• Principal's Message

Welcome to Henry H Wells Middle School.  I am very proud to serve as Principal in such a wonderful school community which consistently puts our students needs first. This is my fourth year serving as Principal, though I have been involved in educating students at WMS since 2001, first as a sixth and eighth grade ELA teacher, then as Dean of Students and Assistant Principal. Prior to that, I taught eleventh grade English at Arlington HIgh School. My education consists of a BA from Fordham University as well as my MS in Educational Administration, an MA in English Education from SUNY New Paltz, and I am currently working toward my Ed.D. at Manhattanville.

Our goal is to work as a team to ensure we are meeting the needs of our students. We are committed, not only to providing the best education for our students, but also focusing on their social emotional needs and helping students develop character. We have adapted the BCSD strategic coherence framework to ensure that we are providing students with the skill set that will serve them in their future educational pursuits. We believe by helping students develop: critical thinking, communication/collaboration, civic responsibility, adaptability and perseverance, we will give them wide experiences that will prepare them for success in the 21st century.  In addition, we believe in learning as much about each child as possible, so we can get a better understanding of how to meet their needs.

We look forward to partnering with you to ensure you have a memorable experience at Wells.

    We are Wells!

    Mr. Clark
