BHS NJROTC Champs
Unit Wins Many Trophies Over Weekend
BHS NJROTC had a stellar performance at the Bethel Drill meet this past weekend. They competed against schools from all over the Northeast and placed in the following matches:
3rd place knockout
2nd place Air Rifle
1st place Senior Academics
2nd place NS1 Academics
2nd place Armed Platoon
2nd place NS1 Color Guard
1st place NS1 Platoon
2nd place NS1 Inspection
2nd place Athletics
1st Overall Junior Division
3rd place overall Senior Division
Because of their overall performance, they have been invited to Areas for the second year in a row.
At the same time as the Bethel Drill meet, other members of the unit traveled to an Orienteering meet in New Hampshire. Competing against schools from all over the Northeast, BHS NJROTC placed 1st place in the Area 1 Orienteering Championship.
Because of their overall performance, BHS NJROTC received an invitation to compete at the NJROTC National Orienteering Championship conducted in Alabama, in March.
