BHS Senior Awarded Highly Competitive National Scholarship
NJROTC Nursing Scholarship To Katherine Chepel
BHS Senior Katherine Chepel has been awarded a Navy ROTC (NROTC) Nursing Scholarship to attend Villanova University.
This is a highly competitive national scholarship awarded to a very small number of students nationwide and reflects Katherine’s academic excellence, leadership, character, and commitment to service. The NROTC Nursing pathway prepares future U.S. Navy Nurse Corps officers—one of the most demanding and respected professional tracks in the military.
This means Katherine will attend a premier university, earn a nursing degree, and begin her career as a Navy Officer with little to no student debt—an extraordinary opportunity made possible through hard work and dedication.
Her success highlights what NJROTC can offer motivated students: leadership development, academic opportunity, financial support, and a clear path to service. Congratulations Katherine.
