BHS Senior Selected for NYSSMA All State Choir--Second Year in a Row
Russano Represents the Best in State
Congratulations to Brewster High School senior, Mikaela Russano who has been selected for the prestigious NYSSMA All State Choir for the 2nd year in a row.
Mikaela is an outstanding vocalist who received a perfect score on her solo 2 years ago and was part of the NYSSMA All State Treble choir last December. After receiving another high score in last May's Solo Festival, she was notified she has been selected again.
Every year literally thousands of students audition for the All State Choirs, Band and Orchestra but a very small percentage are selected for the festival. These students represent the cream of the crop. Mikaela is the first student in the last 20 years at BHS to have been selected twice.
Mikaela, BHS will represent BHS in the All State Treble Choir concert on December 7th, 2025 at the School of Music. Congratulations Mikaela!
