The Middle School Program is designed to increase students’ abilities to understand an ever-changing, complex world.  Students are encouraged to reach conclusions about significant issues and events of the past and present. They will be exposed to the concepts of the social sciences in order that all students gain a greater appreciation of their own cultures as well as the values and beliefs of others.  Detailed information about the Social Studies program can be found in the Curriculum Guide (page 7).
