Welcome to the Henry H. Wells School Nurse's page
Mrs. Cullen and Mrs. Hecht are available at the school each day from 7:30 AM to 2:40 PM. Families are welcome to call anytime, and both nurses check their email frequently throughout the day.
They look forward to caring for your children and working collaboratively with you.

To administer any medication—whether prescription or over-the-counter—we must have:

A written order from a licensed healthcare provider

Written permission from a parent or guardian
Please note:-
Medications must be delivered by a parent or guardian in the original, labeled container.

All medications will be stored securely in the nurse’s office.

Students are not permitted to bring medication to school on the bus, as this is prohibited by New York State law.

Physicals
NYS law requires students in grades K, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11, as well as new entrants to the district, to have a physical examination. Please forward a copy to our office for us to keep on file. If you need a blank copy, please click on the forms tab on the left and then click on NYS School Health Examination Form.
Immunizations
Students must have an up-to-date immunization record, which complies with New York State Department of Health requirements. If you have any questions regarding required vaccinations, you can contact us here in the nurse's office, call your healthcare provider or refer to the NYS Department of Health chart of required vaccinations for school attendance by clicking the tab at the left.

2024-2025 NYS BMI School Survey
Brewster Central School District has been selected to take part in a BMI survey by the NYS Department of Health. As part of the survey, we will be reporting to NYS Department of Health information about our students' weight status groups. ONLY SUMMARY INFORMATION is sent. NO NAMES and no information about individual students is sent. However, you may choose to have your child's information excluded from the survey report. Please complete the attached opt-out form and give it to your child's school nurse.
