Welcome to my class!  

This is my twenty-first year teaching, and the years have flown by! I began my teaching career in first grade, at a NYC public school.  I was hired by Brewster Central School District in 2003 as a Reading Specialist, working with students in first through third grades.  Although I loved my ten years with the Reading team at JFK,  my heart is truly with teaching kindergarten.  Everyday is so much fun, surrounded by our sweet and curious Kinders.  The best part of my job is watching my students develop a love for school and for reading!!

I am very lucky to have Mrs. Pfiel as our classroom aide in room 8.   She loves crafting and surprising our students with treats throughout the year.  As parents ourselves, we strive to develop a classroom community we would wish for our own children.

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters!
