I have been working in Brewster for the past four years. I enjoy spending time with my family, including my twin daughters, my husband, and my dog, Lily. I am an avid reader, and love to shop, bake, and visit the beach. I absolutely love being one of the interventionists at CV Starr. I truly enjoy working with my students in small groups, and I love helping students grow as life long readers. Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions about your child's reading progress.
Enjoy each day as it comes ~ life is a journey, not a race.
February Reading Thoughts
Looking for things to do when school is closed? The public library is a great place to visit! It is an easy way to "try out" a new author or genre, and maybe find something new that you enjoy. Maybe pick a book and then watch the movie version and see what comparisons you can make. However you fill your week away from school, please encourage your child to do some reading next week while school is closed. All students have made reading goals in their reading groups, and we all are embracing the idea of "turning up the volume" on at home reading. One of the easiest way to become a better reader is to spend more time reading.

Please keep an eye out for the Pick-a-Time conference sign ups for Parent Teacher Conferences in March, and be sure to sign up for a conference to meet with me, in addition to your child's classroom teacher.
