I have been working in Brewster for the past four years. I enjoy spending time with my family, including my twin daughters, my husband, and my dog, Lily. I am an avid reader, and love to shop, bake, and visit the beach. I absolutely love being one of the interventionists at CV Starr. I truly enjoy working with my students in small groups, and I love helping students grow as life long readers. Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions about your child's reading progress.
Enjoy each day as it comes ~ life is a journey, not a race.
Some Reading Thoughts...
Many parents often ask how they can help their child who is struggling to read at home. Regardless of age, reading aloud, and with your children, is one of the greatest ways you can make a difference in your child's life. Reading a book to them that is above their reading level helps them build vocabulary, hear what fluent reading sounds like, and develop a love for reading. Bonus time is one on one time with a parent!

The ones who read are the ones who succeed!
It was wonderful to meet so many of you at parent teacher conferences earlier this month! As the holidays approach, I am thinking of each of you--I am thankful and grateful to be your child's reading teacher!
