Geena Thomas

Geena graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina State University, where she majored in criminology and minored in forensic science and psychology. She demonstrated an exceptional academic record throughout her undergraduate studies. Now, as a first-year graduate student at the University of New Haven, Geena continues to pursue a masters of science in forensic technology.

Alonzo McLemore

Alonzo McLemore is studying Public Health at National University while serving in the Navy as an AWF1/E6 Naval Aircrewman. He has been deployed to the 7th, 5th, and 6th Fleets and earned a Humanitarian Service Medal for his work during the Covid-19 pandemic and has participated in multiple combat operations.

Samantha Saumell

Samantha graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pace University earning both a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Science in Education degree in 4 years. She earned her teaching certification in Childhood Education grades 1-6, Literacy Birth-6, and has her ELA extension 5-9. She now works as a third-grade teacher.

Samantha continues to pursue her love of writing and has been selected to publish an article for WLN: A Journal of Writing Center Scholarship!

Garrett Noach

Garrett is the owner and operator of Lamothermic Corp, a company based here in Brewster, NY, that specializes in investment castings for a wide range of industries. With a team of around 50 employees, many of whom are members of the local Brewster community, Garrett plays a pivotal role in supporting both his company and the community. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY New Paltz and is deeply committed to the development of the next generation. As an active member of his community, Garrett finds great joy in helping others grow and thrive, both professionally and personally.

Amelia Cuomo

Class of 2017

Amelia Cuomo is pursuing a PhD in Earth Sciences at the University of Oregon, where she also works as a Graduate Teaching Fellow. She has received several scholarships, including the Jay M. McMurray and Springfield Thunderegg Club Scholarships, as well as an Honorable Mention for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Amelia also earned a $5,000 NSF research grant in 2019. Outside of research, she teaches geology classes and is preparing for her fourth ultramarathon in March.

Brendan Fox

Brewster graduate Brendon Fox, class of 2019

After graduating from Brewster, Brendan earned his B.S. in Biology from Boston College in 2023 and is now a medical student at the Jacobs School of Medicine (Class of 2028). He began his emergency medicine career as an EMT in Bethel, CT, and at Boston College, later working as an ER scribe at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Brendan also volunteers at a free clinic for Buffalo’s homeless.

Adriana Torres-Trinidad

Brewster graduate Adriana Torres-Trinidad, class of 2017

Adriana graduated from The University at Buffalo in 2020 with a BA in Studio Art (Concentration in Photography) and a Minor in Spanish, followed by an MA in Arts Management in 2023. She is currently the Programs Coordinator at Arts Mid-Hudson, an arts nonprofit. Since graduating from Brewster High School, Adriana has curated gallery exhibitions in Buffalo, NY, and the Hudson Valley, while also showcasing her own artwork. She coordinates personal development, creative workshops, events, and youth arts education programs across the Mid-Hudson region.

Jarrid Bryggman

Jarrid Bryggman is attending the University of Florida, majoring in Microbiology and Cell Sciences on the Pre-Med track. He plans to attend Medical School after completing his undergraduate degree in May 2028!

Skye Johnson

Class of 2022

Brewster graduate Skye Johnson, class of 2022

Skye is studying Fashion Merchandising with a Business minor at the University of Delaware. She’s part of the Photography Team for a campus fashion magazine and the marketing team for ODEKO. Skye also recently studied abroad in Sydney, Australia, where she completed a fashion internship with the menswear brand Theodore, contributing to their brand launch. She currently works as a cashier at a vintage boutique and as a Marketing Team Member for ODEKO.

Alana Torres-Trinidad

Class of 2017

Brewster graduate Alana Torres-Trinidad, Class of 2017

Alana Torres-Trinidad graduated from the University at Albany, SUNY, earning both a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2021 and a MS in Secondary Education: Chemistry in 2022.

She now teaches chemistry at John Jay High School, working mainly with ENL students and those with IEPs and 504s. Her passion for science and problem-solving fostered during her time at BHS, has shaped her approach to teaching.

In 2020, Alana was honored with the Excellence in Portuguese Award at UAlbany, a recognition of her hard work and dedication.

Jill Pino

Jill is currently pursuing her passion for education by studying Special Education at SUNY Potsdam while working as a 3rd Grade Teacher at The Town School on the Upper East Side.

Marko Tyhansky

Jalom is a wealth management professional at Morgan Stanley, holding a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Elmira College, where she graduated in 2022. In her role, she helps clients manage their financial strategies and achieve their long-term goals.

Kain Gonzalez

Kain graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training.  While at FSU, Kain worked with various athletic teams on campus including Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Soccer, and Men's Tennis.

Kain will be pursuing his Master's Degree in Athletic Training at the University of North Florida.
