We are thrilled to announce that we are launching our English-speaking Parent University series. These sessions are designed to continue to strengthen our home-school communication and relationships by focusing on timely and relevant topics to your students. Some topics are grade-specific, and others pertinent to grades K-12.
Our first Parent University session will be on Developmental Relationships and will be held Wednesday, December 8th from 6:30 - 7:30 in the Brewster High School Innovation Learning Center (ILC). This topic is relevant for the parents of students in grades K-12. We will share a Zoom link for those who would like to attend remotely, and we will post a recording of the session on our webpage later next week.
The Developmental Relationships framework is a research-based approach to fostering the personal, academic, and social-emotional success of our students. From this session you can expect to learn more about the five keys to Developmental Relationships, understand the research behind the Developmental Relationships framework, and take away actionable strategies for strengthening your relationship with your child.
While there will be additional information on Parent University sessions in the future, below is a skeleton plan of our topics, months, and relevant grade levels.
