XVII. Minimum Suspension Periods
Where a student engaged in conduct which would define that student as “repeatedly, substantially disruptive” under the Commissioner’s Regulations (e.g., engaging in disruptive conduct requiring removal from classroom on four or more occasions during a semester), minimum suspension will be two days subject to modification on a case-by-case basis based upon the particular circumstances present.
Where a student engaged in conduct which would define that student as “violent” under the Commissioner’s Regulations (e.g., engaging in violent conduct requiring removal from classroom on four or more occasions during a semester), minimum suspension will be three days subject to modification on a case-by-case basis based upon the particular circumstances present.
