Cap and Gown Details
Graduation will be here before you know it—make sure you're prepared! It is each senior’s responsibility to order their own cap, gown, and tassel in time for the big day.

Students will be receiving their caps, gowns, and tickets on May 30th (cap and gown order forms were distributed in the Fall).

Chromebook Return & Google Access
Chromebook Return Information
Deadline: All graduating seniors must return their Chromebook and charger by Friday, June 13, in order to receive their diploma at graduation on Wednesday, June 18.
Where to Return:
📍 Technology Office – Room 108C
🕒 Open daily from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM through seniors’ last day of school.
Fees (Cash or check payable to Brewster Central School District):- Missing charger: $40
- Missing or damaged Chromebook (beyond repair): $400
Google Drive & School Email Access- Access ends July 1, 2025 – After this date, students will no longer be able to access their school Google Drive or email.
- Transfer your files using Google Takeout to a personal or college account.
- Reminder: All data will be permanently deleted 6 months after the account is deactivated.

I cannot attend graduation. How can I watch the ceremony?
Are tickets required to attend the graduation ceremony?
Yes, physical tickets are required for entry. Each graduate is allotted 5 tickets for the outdoor ceremony at Bears Field (turf field on Foggintown Road) and 2 tickets for the livestream viewing at the Performing Arts Center at Brewster High School. Tickets are location-specific and clearly marked for either Bears Field or the PAC.
What if there's inclement weather on graduation day?
We will continue to monitor the weather during graduation week. If inclement weather is forecasted for Wednesday, June 18 (the scheduled graduation date), the ceremony will be moved to the rain date: Tuesday, June 17.If any changes are made to graduation plans, we will announce them as soon as possible.
Where do I park?
Are there any rules or restrictions for the turf field at graduation?
Yes:-
No heels may be worn by graduates or guests.

No smoking, including cigars, is permitted on the turf.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Department will be present to enforce these regulations. Thank you for your cooperation.
When should the graduates arrive for the ceremony?

Graduation Ceremony Timeline
Graduation Ceremony – Wednesday, June 18, 2025 🎓

Graduation Rehearsal
Graduation rehearsal will take place on Monday, June 16th, at 8:30 AM, in the BHS PAC. All graduates MUST attend this practice and be prompt if they expect to participate in the ceremony on June 18th.

Graduation Tickets
Physical tickets are required for entry. Each graduate is allotted 5 tickets for the outdoor ceremony at Bears Field (turf field on Foggintown Road) and 2 tickets for the livestream viewing at the Performing Arts Center at Brewster High School. Tickets are location-specific and clearly marked for either Bears Field or the PAC.
Physical tickets will be given out to students on Friday, May 30th, with their caps and gowns. All students must sign for receipt of their tickets, as no duplicates can be issued.

Rules and Restrictions for the Turf Field
As a reminder, no heels may be worn on the turf for graduates or guests. Graduates and guests seated on the turf field should wear wedges or flats only.
Also, there is to be no smoking on the turf, which includes cigars. The Putnam County Sheriff's Department will be present and enforcing this regulation.

Senior Walk
Friday, June 13, at 1pm
- Seniors must bring their caps and gowns to school on June 13.
- Dressed in caps and gowns, students will walk to:
- JFK Elementary
- CV Starr
- HH Wells
- District Office
where they will be greeted and cheered by administrators, teachers, support staff, and students in celebration of this milestone.
- All obligations (books, supplies, exams, Chromebook returns, etc.) must be settled prior to June 13.
- If you are unsure of any outstanding obligations, please see Mrs. Gagliardi or Mrs. Subin in the main office.
