The District Policy Manual developed with Erie 1 BOCES Policy Services is not to be interpreted as legal advice.  Application of the Board policies to specific situations may necessitate consultation with the School Administrators/School Attorney to address the particular circumstances.

Board Handbook

The Board handbook was written for members of the Brewster Central School District Board of Education, in Brewster, NY.  It is meant to provide new and veteran Board members guidance on District practices and protocols.  The handbook was compiled after extensive review of other successful Manuals, Handbooks and Procedures from other districts and NY State Law.  It is meant to be reviewed and updated regularly as facts, laws and circumstances change and the District evolves.
