Hall of Fame
Hall of Fame Criteria:
Spring Athletic Awards Night, the Brewster High School Hall of Fame will induct:
Alumni Only!
This is for several reasons:
- To keep the focus of our players and stakeholders on playing their sport and becoming the best that they can be, not to play to get into the Hall of Fame.
- To eliminate some of the emotions and anxiety that has been elevated to higher levels over the past several years
- To protect our coaches; the thought exists that coaches do not put athletes up for All-Section because they want to deny them one of the criteria necessary to gain entrance into the Hall of Fame.
The criteria for entrance into the Hall of Fame is as follows:
- Candidates must:
- Be a graduate of Brewster High School.
- Be approved by a committee of coaches. (The meeting will take place in May.)
- Be approved by the Brewster High School administration and athletic director.
